The prestigious Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition, organised by the Natural History Museum of London, is the longest-running of its kind. In their effort to keep presenting “nature photography as an art form,” this year the organisers have added a new section to accompany the main competition— the LUMIX People’s Choice Award.

Everyone will be able to vote their favourite among the twenty-five finalists chosen by the competition’s organisers between over 45,000 submissions from 95 different countries. Voting is already open and will remain so until 5 February 2019, when the winner will be announced.

You can see a selection of the twenty-five entries in the gallery down below, and vote for your favourites here.
