Chinatown Arch

Chinatown

This arch marks the so-called centre of Bangkok's Chinatown, and straddles a busy traffic crossing between Th Yaowarat and Th Charoen Krung. If you dodge your way through passing traffic and get to the island on which the arch stands (also called Odeon Circle), you'll find a series of plaques around the monument, with information panels detailing the history of Bangkok's Chinese community.
