The pond is situated in a semicircular plaza reachable via a flight of stairs to your left when you finish your ascent to the top of Baguashan. Above it is the viewing deck with the wooden walkway, and to your right is the big Buddha statue. The pond features nine golden dragons with their jaws gaping skyward. It's supposed to be a fountain but the pond is often dry.
