The Botanical Gardens, below the castle hill, show off more than 10,000 species and are pleasant to wander through. Attractions include the 200-year-old Linnaeum Orangery and the Tropical Greenhouse from where guided tours in English (50kr) begin. Tours are held on Saturdays and Sundays at 2pm from June to August, and on the first Sunday of the month for the rest of the year.
