Imaemon Gallery

Kyūshū

It looks humble from the outside, but stunning works of art are on display in the gallery of one of Japan's Living National Treasures, the 14th generation of his family to produce ceramics. The adjoining shop is open daily, even when the gallery is closed.

The shop and gallery are about halfway between two stations: Arita (1.8km) and Kami-Arita (1.1km).
