Tanjung Bumi

East Java

The village of Tanjung Bumi is situated on the northwest coast of Madura, about 60km from Kamal. Although primarily a fishing village, it is also a manufacturing centre for traditional Madurese batik and perahu. Ask around and you might be able to see some of it being made.
