Museum of Christian Art

This museum, housed in part of the 1627 Convent of St Monica, contains a collection of statues, paintings and sculptures. Interestingly, many of the works of Goan Christian art made during the Portuguese era, including some of those on display here, were produced by local Hindu artists. Unfortunately the museum is closed for refurbishment but will reopen in 2020.
