The impressive Liu Haisu gallery exhibits works of the eponymous painter (one of China's earliest modern artists) and displays international contemporary art from the late artist's private collection. It also hosts visiting exhibitions. There's a brightly coloured 300m graffiti wall surrounding the gallery, featuring works by students from the Fine Arts College at Shanghai University who recreated art they found online (with permission).
