Fort Frances Museum

Northern Ontario

Fort Frances Museum gives an introduction to the historic town – Canada's first European settlement west of Lake Superior – established in the 1730s as a fur-trading post. Pick up a heritage map of town and ask about touring the historical tugboat Hallet, which used to transport logs across nearby Rainy Lake.

The admission price increases when there are special exhibitions.
