Tom Thomson Art Gallery

This gallery is named after Tom Thomson, who grew up near Owen Sound and whose intimate and smoldering portrayal of nature is said to have inspired the formation of the Group of Seven painters. Unfortunately, there is just one small room dedicated to Thomson's works; the larger spaces feature rotating exhibits of contemporary art by regional and national artists, most focused on landscape art.
