Home to endemic and migratory birds, such as warblers, kingfishers and herons, this marsh combines several important natural habitats: palmetto and cedar forest, red mangrove growths and thickets of sawgrass-like Bermuda sedge, reminiscent of the Everglades. A short interpretive trail traverses all of these; if you're lucky, you might spot giant toads.
