If you were gripped by HBO's mini-series The Undoing, not to mention Nicole Kidman's collection of coats and her tumbling auburn curls, you can now book a stay in the beach house that appeared in the show. It's just a two-hour drive from New York City and it's more bright, airy and beautiful in real life.

The Undoing, starring Nicole Kidman and Hugh Grant as Grace and Jonathan Fraser, was the perfect TV tonic to end the year on. The murder mystery had us gripped, of course (don't worry: no spoilers here), but we also got swept up in the beautiful homes. The New York City brownstone with the exposed brick walls, and the Frasers' sprawling bohemian beach house which is available to rent on Airbnb and Vrbo.

The six-bedroom, four-bathroom beach house costs $1085 per night. It sleeps up to 13 people so with a full house, that works out at about $83 per person. Located in East Marion on Long Island's North Fork, the house was originally built as a coastal life guard station in 1893. According to Dirt, the property was purchased in 2007 by film and television writer Jesse Peretz and his wife, Sarah Sophie Flicker, and appeared in HBO's Girls too.

The couple lovingly restored it as a modern family home but maintained its classic farmhouse farm by decorating it with vintage furniture. The huge kitchen has lots of space to entertain large groups with two sinks, two ovens, a six-burner Wolf stove, and a large table. The loft room has a 65" TV with cable, and wireless internet runs throughout the house. Some of the more quirky features include an outdoor shower, a steam bathroom, and a tower bedroom on the fourth floor with windows that look out in all directions.
