Aerial photography has a unique way of showing the world from a different angle and giving it never-before-seen perspectives. Munich-based photographer and designer Tom Hegen has understood this perfectly as he travels to complete his projects that “show the impact of human presence on earth.”

The latest of these projects is The Salt Series, a collection of stunning aerial pictures of salt ponds in vibrant hues and colours that almost look like abstract paintings.
