Set to open this spring on Brewer Street in London’s Soho, Park Row is an immersive dining concept that will pay tribute to DC Comics' cast of characters – everyone from Batman and the Joker to Harley Quinn and Wonder Woman. The first experience of its kind worldwide, the 18,000 sq ft basement venue will feature five restaurants seating 330 people, plus three bar areas, all designed to channel DC’s heroes and villains.

Per a press release, shared plates inspired by historic British dishes will be the focus at Pennyworth’s, a “relaxed yet elegant space” with Bruce Wayne’s butler as a namesake; the Penguin’s Iceberg Lounge will anchor an art deco-style dining room, and a Harley Quinn-themed restaurant will serve a “fun and playful omakase.”

A “villainous speakeasy” called Old Gotham City will be walk-in only, while bookings can be made up to three months in advance for the multisensory tasting menu at the Monarch Theatre, a £120-per-head experience that will use “state-of-the-art projection mapping technology to explore the psychology of heroism through food.”

With a name that references one of Gotham City’s most crime-ridden neighborhoods, Park Row is a collaboration between Wonderland Restaurants, Warner Bros. Consumer Products, and DC, and it has a team of restaurant-world hotshots – alumni from Alinea, The Fat Duck, and Sushisamba – at the helm.

““We are delighted to partner with Warner Bros. to create their first immersive DC-inspired gastronomic restaurant,” Wonderland chief creative officer James Bulmer said in a statement. ”I am still a child at heart, inspired by the greatest stories and storytellers. For me, great food experiences are about unlocking guests’ emotions and creating edible memories.”
