Remote working has been a growing trend over the last few years, with many people having made the switch out of necessity in recent times. Affording people more freedom of movement, some are enjoying the chance to make a change of scenery while also getting work done. With that in mind, one luxury resort in the Maldives has launched a special package that provides an idyllic setting and allows you to work from a sandbank in the sun.

With prices starting at $23,260 for seven nights in a beach hut set up for work, the Workation Package is available at the Nautilus Beach and Ocean Houses. The offering sees guests being able to work for a few hours on a secluded sandbank with a personal desk, a shaded sun canopy and portable high speed Wi-Fi, as well as take part in holistic programmes and watch movies outdoors. A beach house office setup includes everything a worker needs, including a computer, a wireless printer, a phone, full stationery and a desk with ocean views. There’s even a dedicated personal assistant and daily yoga sessions for break time.

Continuous refreshments are on hand throughout the day, and Wi-Fi stretches across the island. Guests truly engrossed in their work can opt to have their meals delivered and served at the beach house for no extra cost. Located at the Baa Atoll Unesco biosphere reserve, the resort is surrounded by clear waters and impressive views, with rooms looking out over the ocean.
