Located in the mountain town of Golden, the Golden Skybridge will connect forested trails in British Columbia's Columbia and Rocky mountain ranges. The newly-constructed bridges sit at 130- and 80-meters high, respectively, and will offer up dramatic 360-degree views of expansive alpine vistas. They will also showcase a 61-meter waterfall and the serene mountain river in the deep canyon below.

The two bridges will be connected via a woodland footpath totalling three kilometers in length, and viewing platforms will provide further opportunities to take in the picturesque landscapes. There will be an outdoor courtyard and café at the experience base, and for more adventurous explorers, the Golden Skybridge will also feature a tandem bungee swing and 1,200 metre zipline spanning the canyon, opening later this summer. There is plenty to explore locally as Golden is surrounded by six Canadian national mountain parks.
“The Columbia Valley is one of those remarkable places that is uniquely positioned to provide a stunning, yet accessible mountain experience," says David Barry, president of Pursuit, who will operate the Golden Skybridge in partnership with a group of local developers. "Whether you’re staying in Golden or making it a stop along your journey between Alberta and British Columbia, the Golden Skybridge will soon become an iconic experience for Canadian and international visitors alike.” There are also future plans for a canyon swing, ziplines, axe throwing and dining in the works.
