Due to the violent protests and political uncertainty in Burkina Faso, the UK’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) has advised against all but essential travel to the majority of the country. Areas north of Boulsa continue to carry a warning against all travel, which relates to its proximity to troubled Mali. Read more: gov.uk
