Royal fans can enjoy a drive-in movie experience at Queen Elizabeth's country estate in Norfolk, as a three-day pop-up event is due to take place in its grounds towards the end of September.
Sandringham House is set in 24 hectares of landscaped gardens and it's where the Queen spends Christmas, usually joined by her family. It was built in 1870 by the then Prince and Princess of Wales (who later became King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra) and the house's features and furnishings remain much as they were in Edwardian days. The stables now house a museum filled with diverse royal memorabilia, and the vintage-car collection includes the very first royal motor from 1900.

The grounds at Sandringham are the location for a three-day drive-in cinema event, hosted by pop-up cinema company, Enchanted Cinema. The movies will be shown on a 100ft-high LED screen, with the sound transmitted via bluetooth or auxiliary input socket to attendees' cars' speaker. Guests can enjoy a variety of different food vendors each day, selling alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, popcorn and snacks.
The movies shown on Friday September 25 are 1917 and Rocketman, while Toy Story, The Greatest Showman and Bohemian Rhapsody are on the menu for Saturday 26. The three-day extravaganza concludes on Sunday 27 with Moana, Grease and A Star is Born. Tickets cost £32.50 ($41.70) plus booking fees per car and can be purchased via the Sandringham website. There will be ample room to facilitate social distancing between cars for guests to sit outside their car, if they prefer.
